BeaveRun Test Day

Friday, August 5 is a track-sponsored test day at BeaveRun. The cost is $200.00, paid directly to the track. The will be three hours in the morning and three sessions in the afternoon of about 45 minutes each, working around two 30-40 minute sessions of a corporate outing (corporate suits bombing around the track in the security training cars).

BeaveRun Garages

BeaveRun now has garages available. They’re located at the top of the hill overlooking the entrance to the front straight, in the same building that contains the hospitality rooms and VIP deck. They’re available for rent for $150.00 for the weekend.

Muscle Car Weekend Schedule

A tentative schedule for the weekend is attached below. It should now be correct, but there may be one change, an addition of a ten-minute warm-up for our cars on Sunday right after lunch. Not sure yet.

BeaveRun Tires

Once again (with one correction), the source for tires for this race is Hoosier Tire Midwest (My mistake, I thought they were Hoosier NE). They’ll be at the track Saturday and Sunday, but you need to call them and order tires for the race. Contact information is:

Also, again, tire service for the Labor Day weekend VIR Stock Car Spectacular is still iffy. Last year, the two tire companies there couldn’t mount stock car wheels safely (risk of tearing the bead). It would be a good idea to buy your VIR tires from Hoosier Midwest and get them mounted Sunday to leave the track with.
