Peyton Sellers at Daytona
If you find the time to watch this weekend’s 24 Hours of
Daytona, look for Daytona Prototype #86, a Picchio/BMW. Peyton Sellers,
the South Boston phenom who ran VIR and Road Atlanta with our series
last year in Robert Anderson’s Monte Carlo (finished third
in both) is one of the drivers. Car owner Steve Marshall called
Peyton after his two LMSC road races and offered him the ride. While
not the quickest of the DP’s, the Picchio has been solid each
year in the 24 hours, and has a record of finishing the race when
others break. They just could do well; it is, after all, a 24 hour
race.
Fields Racing Seeking Interest in VIR Test Day.
Fields Racing is looking at renting VIR for a test day at the
end of February or early March, and wants to hear from any teams

Two More Contingency Sponsors
Basset Wheels and Racing Radios have expressed their intention
to come on board as contingency sponsors. Details on all the exact
offerings will be sent to all the teams as soon as they’re
compiled.
