Season Fees

With just eight weeks to go until the season opener at Road Atlanta, it’s time to get down to business again. Up-front costs for driver’s license and car registration is the same as the previous three years. Crew license cost has been cut substantially, from $100 down to $35.

We’re working to keep costs in line with or below those of other pro race series. By comparison, the new F2000 small formula car series that will be running some races with us in 2007 charges a $500 registration fee and $775 per race. The Miata Endurance series that is starting this year and may run with us at BeaveRun charges $975 per race. Our entry fee will remain at $550.

Pre-Season Registration Costs

For your tax records, we’ll be sending an actual invoice to each team that has declared their intention to contest the series this year.

Driver license qualification is of course assumed for existing series drivers. For new drivers, please provide other competition license details (or just call me).

NASA Licensing

The Road Atlanta Race is a NASA-sanctioned event.

Our drivers who are not already NASA licensed will need to join NASA and apply for licensing. It’s actually less expensive than renewing your HSR license would have been.

You can do it now by simply going to www.nasaproracing.com and join online with a credit card. There's a button to click on to join on-line. The membership cost is $40.00. You are joining the Southeast Region.

To get licensed, you have to mail them a completed license application and medical form. Your SCCA, HSR or NASCAR license should be all they need.
