Registration Materials for VIR June Race Attached
It will come as no big surprise to those who were at VIR last weekend that we have accepted their invitation to run next month at their Gold Cup Historic Weekend, June 6-8.

It was a last minute opportunity, but will become an annual event for us. It’s exactly the kind of venue we are looking for -- a professional atmosphere with lots of fans.

Our teams can enter with the late fees waived, if -- and this is very important -- we get entry forms in by Wednesday, May 21st. That makes the entry fee to them $325.00. Our entry fee on top of that is, as usual, the difference between the overall entry fee ($550) and the track’s; in this case $225.00, payable to Stock Car Road Racing Championship.

VIR June Race Posted Awards
Purse for this race will be $2,000 plus contingencies.

Tires
Appalachian will not be at this race, so tires must be ordered in advance for delivery to you.

Part of the ability to maintain the purse depends on getting tires from Appalachian. The cost is supposed to be the same as from other dealers, but the series gets a $100 rebate from Appalachian on each set of tires we buy (which goes into the purse). Please order your tires from them. Be sure and tell Rodney what series you are ordering the tires for.
